Privacy Policy for Roll Call

Effective Date: May 26 2026

Roll Call is an iPhone app developed by Sidelark Labs. Roll Call helps users create and run walk-up music cues, announcer intros, team rosters, and Game Day lineups.

This Privacy Policy explains what information Roll Call uses, where that information is stored, and what happens when you choose to contact support, import media, or share a team package.

Information Roll Call Collects

Roll Call does not require an account.

Roll Call does not operate a social network, public profile system, or public team page.

Roll Call does not sell your personal information.

Roll Call does not include third-party advertising.

Roll Call does not require you to provide your name, email address, phone number, or other account information to use the app.

Information Stored in the App

Roll Call stores the information you choose to enter into the app, such as:

• Team names

• Player names

• Uniform numbers

• Player photos

• Team colors

• Lineup order

• Audio cue settings

• Recorded announcer intros

• Imported audio files

• App settings and preferences

• Backup and import/export data

This information is used to make the app work. For example, Roll Call uses player names, lineup order, and audio cue settings to run the Game Day screen.

Your team data is stored on your device unless you choose to export, back up, or share it.

Player and Team Information

Roll Call may be used for youth sports teams or other group activities. You are responsible for deciding what information to enter into the app.

Please avoid entering sensitive personal information that is not needed to use Roll Call.

If you add player names, numbers, photos, songs, recordings, or other team details, that information remains under your control on your device unless you choose to export or share it.

Photos

If you choose to add player photos, Roll Call may request access to your photo library through Apple’s system permission prompt.

Roll Call uses selected photos only for the player or team features you choose to use.

Roll Call does not upload your photo library to Sidelark Labs.

Microphone and Announcer Recordings

If you choose to record announcer intros, Roll Call may request access to your microphone through Apple’s system permission prompt.

Recorded announcer intros are stored for use inside the app.

Roll Call does not upload your microphone recordings to Sidelark Labs.

Apple Music and Media

Roll Call can use Apple Music songs and local audio files as cue sources.

If you choose to use Apple Music features, Apple’s systems may handle authorization, playback, and media access. Roll Call does not receive your Apple Music password.

If you import local audio or video files, Roll Call uses those files to create or play audio cues inside the app.

You are responsible for making sure you have the rights or permissions needed to use any music, audio, recordings, photos, names, or other content you add to Roll Call.

Team Export, Import, and Backups

Roll Call allows you to export and import .rollcall team packages.

A .rollcall package may include team data such as player names, numbers, photos, audio cue settings, imported audio, recorded announcer intros, team colors, and related app data.

When you export or share a .rollcall package, you control where that file goes. For example, you may choose to save it to Files, send it by AirDrop, attach it to a message, or share it another way.

Anyone who receives a .rollcall package may be able to view or use the information contained in that package.

Roll Call may also create backups on your device to help you recover team data. These backups are stored locally unless you choose to move, export, or share them.

Support Emails

If you contact Sidelark Labs for support, we may receive your email address and any information you choose to include in your message.

Support emails may include information such as your question, screenshots, device details, iOS version, app version, or other troubleshooting details you decide to share.

Please do not send sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for your support request.

Children’s Privacy

Roll Call is intended to be used by adults, coaches, parents, guardians, team helpers, or other organizers.

Roll Call is not intended to be used as a social network or public profile system for children.

If you use Roll Call for a youth team, you are responsible for deciding what information to enter, store, export, or share.

Third-Party Services

Roll Call may rely on Apple-provided services and frameworks, such as Apple Music, the App Store, iCloud or device backup behavior, Photos, Files, and system permissions.

Your use of Apple services is subject to Apple’s own privacy policies and terms.

Sidelark Labs does not control Apple’s systems, App Store analytics, crash reporting, device backups, or account services.

Analytics and Advertising

Roll Call does not include third-party advertising.

Roll Call does not sell personal information.

Roll Call does not operate a public user-tracking or social-profile system.

Apple may provide developers with limited App Store analytics, crash reports, or diagnostic information according to Apple’s policies and user settings.

Data Deletion

You can remove team and player information by deleting it inside the app.

You can also delete the Roll Call app from your device to remove locally stored app data from that device.

If you exported a .rollcall package, shared a file, saved a backup elsewhere, or sent information to another person, deleting the app will not delete those separate copies.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

Sidelark Labs may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

If the policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
